In February 2016, adidas launched its second pair of NMD Primeknit R1s. The NMD R1 PK 'Gold' silhouettes would move away from the monochromatic colorway seen on the first Primeknit R1s and adopt glitch-like Primeknit changes. This model would be available in a vibrant black and yellow colorway with patches of white popping up.
